Teri Welsh Gould said if she would have known what a court reporter was earlier in life, she might have skipped becoming an accountant. Gould has been an official court reporter for District Court Judge James Doyle IV for almost 10 years. She will reach that milestone in April.Doyle is a judge in the 11th Judicial District which consists of 17 counties and is covered by a total of four judges. Each judge has his own court reporter who follows him for court proceedings. “Anything that is on the record cannot be done without the court reporter,” said Gould.
